Art on Wheels - The Breathtaking 1947 Hudson Super Six Convertible.
This 1947 Hudson Super Six convertible was acquired out of Connecticut by the current owner’s grandfather and was part of the Jack Mapes Classic Car Collection. She received a multi-year ground-up restoration and was completed in 1990.
Repainted in maroon over maroon upholstery, the classic vehicle is powered by her original 212ci inline-six mated to a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a tan electric soft top, body-color 15″ steel wheels, chrome hubcaps, chrome bumpers, driving lights, cowl-mounted spotlights, a Carter carburetor, and a clock. This Super Six is now offered at Bring a Trailer with refurbishment photos, service records, a mechanical procedure manual, and a clean Idaho title in the owner’s name.
