Over the past few years, I've purchased two trucks that were built by a customer of mine by the name of Dave. Now he has just finished up this 1975 FJ40. It was torn down to the frame. The truck spent much of its life in Arizona so there was minimal rust prior to rebuilding.
The goal here is to build a reliable and good looking Land Cruiser you can DRIVE! Dave is not a purist. He's not building garage candy or factory correct OEM stock FJ40's. This 1975 has a long list of nice upgrades and being a 1975, you can title her in CA without concern. She is smog exempt!
I'll be offering this truck on consignment at what I consider to be a bargain price!

Fresh frame off restoration
Rebuilt 350 Chevy engine with original FJ40 drive train
The frame was stripped and rust resistant coating applied
The underbody was sprayed with Raptor bed liner
FiTech fuel injection
Mini truck power steering conversion
Vintage air Gen IV system
JT outfitters front disc brake conversion
New flywheel, centerforce clutch, starter, water pump,
New 100amp Tuff Stuff one wire alternator
Three row aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan.
New shocks and five new tires
New brake booster and master cylinder, new clutch master and slave cylinder
New exhaust system including manifolds
New wiring, new battery
All seats were reupholstered, new door cards, new Retrosound radio
Transmission, transfer case and differentials were opened, inspected, serviced and resealed
The body was stripped and painted the original Rustic Green
