Today I will be adding this one-of-a-kind 1966 FJ45 to the Inventory page. Just over 2 years ago, Proffitt's Resurrection Land Cruisers, complete body and bed Stage 3 restoration. The frame was powder coated and all imperfections in the body were fixed and professionally prepped and painted.

Prior to this, she had already been to Proffitt's for an engine upgrade to a Cummins 3.3L turbodiesel with intercooler and a 4L60E OD Automatic Transmission.

The entire vehicle was rewired with brand new wires and harnesses. It has custom front and rear bumpers with a Warn 8274 winch. Rigid lights were added as forward facing auxiliary lights to the front bumper, backup lights, and cargo lights to the headache rack. Windshield washers were added which were not available on this year and model. Bilstein shocks were added, as was a 2.5" lift and OME suspension. Finally, a Safari snorkel was added.

The interior was completely redone and the original bench seat was removed in favor of bucket seats from an FJ60 that were custom upholstered. 3-point seat belts were added for driver and passenger. A locking Tuffy center console with cupholders and USB charger for added storage. An in-dash Retro Audio radio was fitted that is bluetooth and satellite radio capable. Heat and Air conditioning are provided by the Vintage Air Gen IV system.

The gauges were upgraded to Dakota Digital instrumentation. The interior was painted to match the exterior and a matching Vortex spray in liner was applied on the floor of the interior. Below is a link to a video Proffitt's made when they restored the truck.
