Spring Green "Patina" Classic Reborn!

Here's a US Spec 1969 Spring Green FJ40 "Patina Project" that was restored by the folks at Redline Cruisers.  She spent her life in Wyoming and is now located in Texas.

The current owner purchased this truck in 2021. This is a freshly rebuilt truck and has been broken in and driven approx. 500 miles since the frame-off restoration was completed.

Highlights include a 2F engine rebuilt by a Toyota Master Mechanic in Pueblo, CO.  Brand new Toyota H55F five-speed transmission.  All new 4-wheel disc brake system. New fuel system including the tank and all fuel delivery components and a new ignition. 

The body received all new lamps, emblems, gaskets, seals, rubber and window channel felts. The body has a beautiful "patina" that has been "frozen in time" using POR15 Clear. The underside was blasted and lined with color matched LineX. The frame was epoxy coated. All lighting is LED.

Steering components have been upgraded to GM Saginaw power steering. The drive shafts have been cut and balanced. The custom suspension was designed by Redline to appear stock and provides two inches of lift for optimal clearance. The truck rides on new BFG All Terrain 33x10.50 KO2 tires and Bilstein shocks.

The truck comes with a full hardtop. The windows are all in excellent condition.

The new interior features custom leather dash pads and hand crafted Pendleton wool upholstery. The headliner is new. 

Headlights, Brake lights, Turn signals, Backup lights, License plate lighting, Hazards, Wipers, LED Instrument lighting, Horn, Front & Rear Heater are in excellent working condition.

Disclosure: The emergency brake is not currently connected. The cables needed to set the rear brakes need to be fabricated and installed.  There is rust through on the lower portion of the back drivers side half door or "barn door". This is pictured in the gallery and the seller will make an allowance for repair.

Extensive digital documentation is included with this vehicle including hundreds of photos, video, pdf files of receipts, etc.

The owner reportedly has all keys to the vehicle and the toolkit.
